The WITS Global Business School^TM is a partner of an independent consortium of accredited universities devoted to excellence in business management education and research. The GBS has the distinction of being the first business school in the World to offer a truly Global MBA program offering the combined syllabuses of leading accredited MBA programs from the major continents of North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. The programs are offered with English as the medium of instruction, and with the combination of participative seminars and the case study approach as the preferred learning method. The university partners of The Global Business School^TM have collectively graduated more that 12,000 highly competent MBAs professionals of various specialisations around the world since the early 1950s. The WITS Global Business School^TM is part of a strategic alliance which has built a reputation for providing the best management education in a global sense. The individual universities in the partnership are fully accredited by their respective governmental bodies and have also cross-accredited each other's programs to a significant degree. This in turn leads to a unique learning approach in providing significant student choice in terms of core specialties, electives, entry and exit points and flexible learning modes. Students can study at any one of the strategic partners or approved universities of the WITS GBS and can either graduate at the partner/approved university, or obtain credit towards a WITS MBA.

The Global Business School^TM faculty members are drawn from alliance universities and from industry, and have PhDs and MBAs from respected universities in Australia, Asia, Europe, and the USA. Each faculty member has also had, or has, a successful business career as an executive in a diverse variety of industries.
